Joseph and Nick

These guys started a YouTube channel in June 2019 purely for fun. However, as their channel and podcast have grown, it became clear they needed a site to house written reviews, Best/Worst of lists, merchandise (coming soon), and more.

Nick is the Rotten Tomatoes-approved lead film critic at Ioncinema. Additionally, he is a member of The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) and The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics (GALECA).

Joseph is a scorpio.

These two met in Minnesota in 2008 and quickly fell in love. After living in sin for over a year, they decided to get married and have been enjoying marital bliss since 2010.

They currently live in Los Angeles with their sphynx cat Agnew Pennywise Six Bell-Robinson. They call her Aggie for short, but she responds to Mama, Bitch, and the opening of a Chobani yogurt cup.

Nick with Sigourney Weaver

Nick’s love for film and literature started at an early age. Thanks to his grandmother, he was reading books that were certainly too mature for his age. After watching Aliens, his love for Sigourney Weaver was implanted.

Nick also has a passion for French cinema and a particular fondness for Isabelle Huppert (whose likeness is tattooed on his back).

Nick has a degree in English and a Master’s in social work. He loves traveling to film festivals, running, and pizza.

Joseph is a hairstylist by trade, but his journey to cosmetology took an interesting path (we won’t get into it). Currently, he is not working behind the chair but does enjoy commenting on actors’ hair and makeup any chance he gets. He has an undying love for Janet Jackson, cake, and naps.
